
Top Five Fabulous! January 30, 2020 1. We had someone come to our school to teach us how to carve an inukshuk out of soapstone. First, we had to sand the inukshuk so that it was smooth and we could not see any of the cut lines. Second, we used another tool to make the lines so that it looked like individual stones. Third, we used two different grades of sandpaper to make sure that our inukshuk was smooth. Finally, we used oil to do the magic and make the colours come out! We had to persevere and it looked amazing! 2. In math, we made a shape town. We used 2D shapes to create a town. We had to name the shapes and then count them up.
