Top Five Fabulous! December 19, 2019

1.    In art, we made gifts for our families.  We cannot wait to give you the gifts.  We also made cards and spent a lot of time thinking about our writing.  

2.    The whole school met in the gym and we sang songs for Christmas.  We had so many favourite songs!  We loved to sing Feliz Navidad, Six White Boomers, Jingle Bell Rock and Carol of the Bells.  We also loved seeing our teachers being ‘elfed’ on a video!  It was so funny.

3.    Our classroom elf, Ginger June-Bug was all over our classroom this week.  She left us a note, along with a movie called, “An Elf’s Story”, she was in an Acadian bag, she used scissors to make a card for us, and she left us a note to say goodbye and that she loved grade 2.

4.    In PE, we had a couple of guest teachers.  These kids reached 100 on their treasure map and they chose to teach PE.

5.    We did a directed drawing of Santa.  One of the students showed us, step by step, how to draw and he also went down to the kindy class, with an assistant!
